Dr Delia Quinn
Delia coordinates and teaches in the nutrition program at ECU. She is
also responsible for the coordination of the Faculty’s generic Bachelor
of Science degree and the double degree in Science and Business.
The focus of Delia’s research interests centres on the formation of individual food habits and the customs and culture of food environments. Delia’s lifelong interest has been in the teaching of nutrition and her research at Sydney University examined the knowledge and strategies of nutrition educators and how their pedagogical content knowledge impacts on their effectiveness.
During 2007/08 Delia has convened the plans for the Master of Nutrition & Dietetics course which is due to commence at ECU mid-2009. Delia is also an Accredited Practising Dietitian and consults individual clients and small groups through the Vario Wellness Clinic.
